Getting paid subscribers is one thing but retaining them can be a whole other challenge, which is why we're laid out a few ideas to take note of if you want to increase your chances of keeping those paid subs for longer.
Fresh Content
This may be obvious to some, but lack of fresh content is the number one reason in our opinion for losing those paid subscribers.
Nobody wants to continue paying for a service that's not delivering, so make sure that you are encourage rebills by posting fresh content every few days, preferably daily. Daily posts are recommended, even multiple daily posts, as this will give the sub the impression that you are always active and if they don't keep subscribed to your profile that they will be missing out on something new.
Creating this amount of content doesn't have to fill every day, as you can set aside one day a week to film all content for the following week, allowing you to enjoy more time on other things, instead of being stuck in a daily content creation cycle.
Don't want to post regularly? Then say goodbye to those paid subs and good luck getting any new ones. #harshtruth
Engage With Your Existing Subscribers
There's no better feeling and feeling wanted, especially by someone who you're paying to see. So perhaps focus on sending out regular messages to your subs, not messages containing a PPV (Pay Per View) item just an update about yourself or just a general message asking them how their day was. Kind of like the 'girlfriend experience' but en masse.
Reply to comments to but say a bit more than a quick emoji or 'Thanks babe' etc. Maybe start asking questions in the comments about how their day was or what they would like to see.
Write engaging posts. Perhaps something like a poll like 'What would you like to see? Option 1? Or Option 2?' What's your favourite? Where's a good place to holiday? Where should I do my next location shoot?' etc.
Making your subs feel heard is very important, especially since you may not have the time to reply to every single message you receive.
Stay true to your core identity
Every model starts out in their own way and develops their own identity, which subscibers fall in love with. This may be the style of content, the things you do in your content, the things you talk about, clothes you dress in or any of the other hundreds of things out there you could do.
You gained a following for at least one of these reasons, which is why if you want to increase retention rates, you'll want to stay to true to your roots and keep the same vibe going BUT you'll still want to add new styles and try new things too!
Evolve
Yes, stick with the things that are at the core of your persona but still continue to evolve and try new things. Maybe try following trends, incorporate new styles into your current content flow or maybe move on to try different levels.
Staying true whilst evolving may be contradictory but both are essential, otherwise you run the risk of continually turning over paid subs and in a conastnt battle to attract new ones. Bascially, stay true to please your current subs whilst evolving on the side to widen the net to catch new subs. It's a delicate balanace but can work very well when executed properly.
