3 Ways To Hide Your Face When Creating Content - Part 1

It takes a lot of courage to make content and even more to show your face, especially with potential fallout from family, friends and workplaces etc, which why we've put together a list of three ways you can reduce the chances of you being recognised from your content.
These aren't guaranteed to keep your secret a secret but these are a better option than just going all out.
Tip: Don't forget to cover other identifying marks such as tattoos, scars and birth marks if you think that they would also be a giveaway).
Face Mask & Wig

This is a more subtle option, as your eyes and area around your eyes is still visible and YES, creators have still been recognised because of this uncovered area. But this option allows you to be more creative, especially if you like dressing up as a character, which is why this option is very popular with e-girls and goth girls.
Tip: People you know may also recognise the room you're creating content in such as your bedroom or living room, so perhaps try and disguise it with hanging sheets or backdrops.
Balaclava

Balaclavas are a great way to have your face in frame without having to make sure it's always off screen. You can either go for a three-hole balaclava (one hole for each eye and one hole for mouth or an eye slit balaclava (one big hole that shows your eyes and bridge of your nose). The three-hole option is best for anonymity, as it covers most of your face.
Tip: The social profiles you use to promote your content may automatically be recommended to friends, family and contacts, so make sure you block anyone you recognise in your 'Recommended Profiles' section.
No Face In Frame

The best bet is of course to keep your face out of the frame completely. However, as many creators will tell you this can be very difficult to pull off, as it will dictate your body position in each shot and how far away the camera can be.
Tip: Use another location on your profiles such as another city, county or even another country if you're concerned that your location will give away the game.
'As always, we recommend making sure that you're 100% certain that creating content is what you want to do and that you're ready for potential fallout if your family/friends/colleagues find out. Prepare yourself mentally and understand that most of the time, everyone finds out eventually. Use these tips as a way of giving yourself a bit more time to prepare but you never know, some creators do stay secret creators forever.' - Harry
